Are You Listening To Someone “Just Because”?

by Joseph Ratliff

Just because someone appears to be an authority, even if traditionally an authority…doesn’t mean you should listen to them.  Just because the news says something is happening, doesn’t mean it’s going to happen to you.

As a society, we need to do a better job of thinking for ourselves, and stop listening to mass-media in some key cases, so we can make more informed decisions.

Other people and groups don’t know you or your situations (and in most cases, they don’t care).

Like Grandpa used to say… “Take it with a grain of salt.”  Seriously good advice actually.
